A ring itinerary around the foothills of Campo dei Fiori, the massif that dominates the hills of Varese above the Varese lake and the orderly city of the same name. It follows three stretches of Path 10/310, the official itinerary of the Campo dei Fiori Regional Park.

Leaving the cemetery of Sant’Ambrogio, follow the main road toward Sacro Monte di Varese, keeping to the left until you reach the centre of Velate, then follow the indications for path 10/310. At the fork for Cerro, you will descend to the unpaved Cerro-Orino track. After skirting a picnic area, you will arrive in Orino. Continue downhill past the ancient wash house, entering the forest once again until you reach the Rocca of Orino. Path 10b/310b continues toward Brinzio until it meets provincial route 45 in the direction of Castello Cabiaglio. After passing through the houses, at a distance of almost 1 km, you will find indications for Brinzio again on the right, along an uphill Forest Ranger track that leads to the fields surrounding Brinzio. This is the start of the third stretch of the ring. After passing through the settlement, it follows the shoreline of Brinzio Lake until it meets provincial route no. 62. After a short distance, the path that leads to the Varese settlement of Rasa starts on the left. The dirt road continues to the locality of Molinetto where, crossing the paved road, the path that leads to Villa Toeplitz starts on the left. Going up the slope will take you back to the starting point.
